The Reasons Why You Are Fat And How To Easily Overcome Them
We have many problems facing us today. Financial, relationships, employment. Perhaps one of most dangerous us the growing problem of obesity. More than sixty percent of adult Americans are overweight of clinically obese.
We are literally eating ourselves to death. How did we become such a fat nation? If you take a look at some old photos from fifty or a hundred years ago, you’ll notice very few fat people. Why is this?
One reason is that so many of us today are lucky enough to be able to make a living while sitting on our behinds all day long. Before, that just wasn’t possible. In the old days, you had to really work hard to earn money.
Another reason is that people back in those days ate much healthier than we do today. Most of their food was fresh, and grown on one of their neighbors farms. I don’t know about you, but there aren’t many farms where I live.
Today, no matter what you eat, there is a high probability it will be completely laced with chemicals and preservatives. You need a dictionary just to be able to interpret the food labels on the junk we eat.
The reason is so that they can transport food from far away places, and keep it on the store shelf for a longer period of time. This benefits the stores and the producers, making it easier for them to sell their products, but what about us?
While they continue to make profits and watch their bank accounts grow, we continue to get fatter and fatter. Are they really that concerned with our health? Or are they more concerned with their bottom line?
In order to take control of your own health, you have to come to the conclusion that nobody will do it for you. Only when you choose the right food, and choose to make time for exercise do you stand a chance in today’s difficult world.
